AdMob’s Russell Buckley reported to the conference room at Mobile Web Europe that community and chat based advertising can cost on average $10 CPM based on the fact that social networkers tend not to click on the ads, but if you can increase the context and relevance then obviously the value exchange is much higher. This compares with premium space for automotive and sports of up to $25 CPM, but this really only relates to the top slots available.
