These were just a few of themes that have emerged after dozens of interviews and briefings with senior execs from mobile advertising companies, content adaptation companies, operators, VCs and a long list of platform providers. I also had the pleasure of attending the Netsize Guide launch party, where the positive response to the book I wrote was overwhelming. It’s been a fantastic week at MWC – but it’s not over yet. Tomorrow I’m off to an invitation-only mobile marketing workshop to connect with major brands, agencies and influencers to get the inside track on the industry issues that matter and the best practice that sets the bar.
It’s good preparation for Mobile Advertising U.K., the research project I am undertaking on behalf of Every Single One Of Us and endorsing partners, the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB UK) and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). But it will also provide valuable material for future MSG analysis and coverage.
