What is the potential impact of Asia's home-grown social networking giants? And how should brands harness social media for effective marketing in Asia?

Tough questions that require brave answers.

I caught up with Freddie Laker -- social media marketing authority, Asia trend-watcher and Director of Digital Strategy at SapientNitro an interactive marketing, creative design & technology services consultancy – to explore his views and insights in the run up to Social Media World Forum Asia (September 22-23, Singapore).
